American supermodel, Bella Hadid is the world’s most beautiful woman and it has been confirmed by science.

The 23-year-old scored a whopping 94.35 percent on a rating scale that measures physical perfection.

Hadid was found to be 94.35 percent “accurate” to the said equation.

“Her eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw and facial shape were measured and came closest to the ancient Greeks’ idea of perfection,” Daily Mail writes.

The “Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi” is a mathematical equation that defines beauty in accordance with classic Greek calculations.

Measurements of facial proportions are done going by standards that Greek scholars applied while trying to define beauty with scientific formula.

Pop diva Beyoncé coming closely at the second spot with 92.44 percent perfect followed by actress Amber Heard with a score of 91.85 percent and singer Ariana Grande with a score of 91.81 percent.

According to the publication, the list was compiled by using computerized mapping techniques by Harley Street facial cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Julian De Silva, who uses this technology in his work.

“Bella Hadid was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection,” said the facial cosmetic surgeon who runs the Centre for Advanced Facial Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery in London.

The image is one of several photos created by Mitchell with Beyoncé for Vogue‘s September issue last year, when he became the first African-American to shoot a cover for the magazine.

Mitchell wrote on his Twitter handle:

A year ago today we broke the flood gates open Now I’m glad to share this picture is being acquired into the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery’s permanent collection.

Disney’s ‘The Lion King’ has crossed the billion-dollar mark after less than 3 weeks in theaters.

The live-action remake of the 1994 movie features Beyonce, Donald Glover and Chiwetel Ejiofor in lead roles. The movie joins ‘Avengers: Endgame’, ‘Captain Marvel’ and ‘Aladdin’ as the fourth Disney title to surpass one billion dollars in global ticket sales in 2019.

With its blockbuster slate, Disney has nearly 38 percent of the domestic market share, a cut that increases to more than 40 percent when Fox, which it just purchased, is added.  ‘The Lion King’ earned 361 million dollars at the domestic box office and 638 million dollars overseas.

Outside of North America, it had especially strong showings in China with 115 million dollars, along with the United Kingdom with 48 million dollars and Brazil with 44 million dollars. The movie also stars Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen as Timon and Pumbaa. James Earl Jones reprised his role as Mufasa from the original animated film.

The milestone comes on the heels of another Disney benchmark. Between July 26 and July 28, the company set a new all-time record for global ticket sales for a single studio.  Disney hit 7.67 billion dollars worldwide, smashing the mark it previously set in 2016 with 7.61 billion dollars.

Disney set a new record in 2016 with four films that grossed over 1 billion dollars. In the coming months, Disney will release ‘Frozen 2′, a ‘Maleficent’ sequel and ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’.

‘Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé’ has been nominated for six Emmys, and a win in most of those categories would go to her personally.

News Agency of Nigeria reports that Beyoncé would share in the award for co-director, writer and co-musical director as well as a producer.

The Netflix film is up for outstanding variety special (pre-recorded), directing, writing, music direction, production design and costumes.

Beyoncé had previously been nominated for four Emmys but has not yet won one. Her prior nominations were for a variety of special and variety special directing.

These were for her visual album ‘Lemonade’ in 2016, best short-form entertainment for her 2013 Super Bowl halftime show and special class program for ‘On the Run Tour’.

Awards analysts already predict that Beyonce would have a busy award season as she could be up for Grammys or Oscars in the next six months, following this Emmy splash.

Her awards reach may stretch in the months to come as ‘Spirit’, the original song she co-wrote for “The Lion King,” is expected to be submitted for Oscar consideration.

At the 2020 Grammys, either her ‘Lion King’ companion album ‘The Gift’ (which comes out June 19) or the soundtrack for ‘Homecoming’ could be in contention.

NAN reports that this might also put the Nigerian and African artists she featured on ‘The Gift’ album up for Grammy nominations.

In the tracklist for ‘The Gift’, Beyonce featured Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Yemi Alade, Tekno, Burna Boy and Mr Eazi as well as Busiswa and Shatta Wale.

Beyoncé did more than give a rare interview to ABCsome nights ago where she spoke about The Lion King, the original cartoon’s impact on her, and the album she curated for the new version of the film. She also released the music video for the new song she recorded for the adaptation: “Spirit.” There’s a lot to take in: incredible dancing, breathtaking scenery, an entire rainbow’s worth of outfits that Bey wears, and Beyoncé’s seven-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter, who is a scene-stealer in her own right whenever she’s alongside her mother.

The video justly has over 10 million views already.

In her interview with ABC, Beyoncé spoke about the vision behind the video. The concept of the video is to show how God is the painter, and natural beauty in nature needs no art direction,” she said. “It’s the beauty of color, the beauty of melanin, the beauty of tradition.”

She added, “It was important that we weren’t just inspired by Africa but that we actually included and learned from the motherland.”

She also spoke about how much being able to pass down The Lion King to her family and children Blue and her younger twin siblings Rumi and Sir meant to her. “Being a mother, my family is my biggest priority,” Bey said. “It’s not many films that the parents can go and feel the way I feel about The Lion King and…pass that legacy on to their kids.”

“I grew up watching The Lion King [the original 1994 cartoon]. It’s the first Disney movie brought me to tears,” she said.

Disney has announced that the Lion Queen herself, Beyoncé, has executive produced an album inspired by the film, The Lion King: The Gift — which she enlisted African artists and producers for.

Along with the exciting announcement, Beyoncé also dropped a new track off the project, “Spirit”, which serves as a taste of what to expect. The powerful, anthemic song will appear in the film, during a pivotal scene with Beyoncé’s character, Nala.

Speaking in a statement about what this album means to her, Beyoncé said:

“This is sonic cinema, a new experience of storytelling.  I wanted to do more than find a collection of songs that were inspired by the film.

It is a mixture of genres and collaboration that isn’t one sound. It is influenced by everything from r&b, pop, hip-hop and afrobeat.”

In the same statement, she reveals that all the music on the project has been worked on by the most interesting and talented artists, but also produced by the best African producers, in order to maintain authenticity in the storytelling.

The Lion King: The Gift drops on July 19.

Imagine you and your husband invite your friends, a couple, over to a televised event. You take their orders. You offer the wife a rose, and explain to the husband why you did so. Then you arrive home to find you’re being harassed all over the internet. Your name is everywhere. These people are on all your social media accounts, telling you to kill yourself. Because of what?

That’s the real life story of Nicole Curran, the wife of Golden State Warriors owner Joe Lacob.

You don’t need to be a part of the Beyhive to be aware of the news – just scroll through your Twitter and you’ll see the video of Nicole speaking to JAY-Zfloating around.

The Beyhive said Beyoncé‘s body language, in that video, made it clear that she didn’t like the woman talking to Jay-Z, and that she nudged her away.

Soon they were in Nicole’s comments section, asking her to go kill herself, and on Twitter saying she was rude for leaning over Beyoncé (to get Jay-Z’s drink orders).

For people who think this #NicoleCurran thing is overblown. Sorry, not sorry. That kind of thing happens all the time to Black Women in particular. Its deliberate & disrespectful. Nicole tried to do some damage control, sharing a photo of herself and Beyoncé being friendly on her Instagram, but that only got her more attacks, forcing her to disable her comments, then her account.

She left a comment on TheShadeRoom’s post on the issue, writing:

Listen Beehive [sic]. I respect Queen B. I love her! I talked to her husband twice tonight. First, to take a drink order for them both when they arrived as they were our guests. Second, to explain why I gave his wife a rose from a fan. All of this has been taken out of context. I’m a happily married woman. Telling me to kill myself?????? Somehow I don’t think she would support this.

Senior Writer at ESPN Ramona Shelburnereached out to her and shared what she learned on her Twitter:

Just spoke to Nicole Curran, the wife of Warriors owner Joe Lacob, about the “incident “ with Beyoncé last night. She was in tears. Said she had been getting death threats on social media all night this morning she disabled her IG account just to make it stop.

Beyoncé’s publicist, too, shared her views on the issue, writing that the Beyhive spewing hate will bring no joy to their queen.I am looking back today at the start of The OTRII tour, one year ago. It was a place of joy, unimaginable entertainment from two of the best performers in the world, and a place of love. Every single day on that tour I saw love. Which is why I also want to speak here to the beautiful BeyHiVE. I know your love runs deep but that love has to be given to every human. It will bring no joy to the person you love so much if you spew hate in her name. We love you. 🐝 🐝 🐝

We get that you can love someone so much that you don’t want them disrespected. But taking that love and morphing it into the worst kind of hate, hate that pushes someone to tears and asking that they kill themselves? That’s just … insane.

Although Beyoncé herself hasn’t released a statement, there’s no doubt that, as someone who’s shown over and over that she’s only full of love, she doesn’t approve of any of this.

Beyoncé has revealed the extreme lengths she went to loose weight for her headline slot at Coachella last year, following the birth of Rumi and Sir Carter.

The 37-year old singer weighed 218lbs on the day her twins were born in June 2017 and embarked on a gruelling vegan diet in a bid to lose weight, but vowed ‘never to push myself that far again’.

Speaking in her Netflix documentary, Homecoming, released yesterday, she said: ‘In order for me to meet my goals, I’m limiting myself to no bread, no carbs, no sugar, no dairy, no meat, no fish, no alcohol… I’m hungry’.

She also added that;

“It’s not like before when I could rehearse 15 hours straight. I have children. I have a husband. I have to take care of my body. Just trying to figure out how to balance being a mother of a six-year-old and of twins that need me, and giving myself creativity, and physically, there’s a lot to juggle.

‘I definitely pushed myself further than I knew I could and I’ve learned a very valuable lesson. I will never, never push myself that far again. I feel like I’m just a new woman in a new chapter of my life and I’m not even trying to be who I was. It’s just so beautiful that children do that to you.’
