Maternal health advocate, scholar, and author Tolulope Ola Adejumo celebrates the resounding success of her latest books, Tiny Hero, Big Heart and Tiny Hero, Big Hearts: Journaling Your Little Blessings in the NICU. First released online via a virtual launch on the #GetTalkingWithEsther show with Esther Ijewere, the books gained widespread recognition, becoming an Amazon Bestselling Hot Release before the official in-person event in Ottawa.
The much-anticipated virtual launch of Tiny Hro, Big Heart on March 15, 2025, followed by the in-person event in Ottawa on March 30, 2025, brought together healthcare professionals, NICU families, maternal health advocates, and community leaders. These gatherings facilitated meaningful discussions on the challenges of premature births and the importance of emotional and financial support for NICU families.
“It is truly heartwarming to see the overwhelming support for this book,” said Tolulope Ola Adejumo. “Tiny Hero, Big Heart is more than just a story. It is a beacon of hope for parents navigating the NICU journey. The response we have received affirms the need for more storytelling and advocacy in maternal and neonatal healthcare.”
With the success of the book launch, Adejumo continues her mission through A Mother’s Journey, a platform dedicated to supporting NICU parents with resources, community aid, and advocacy. She remains committed to amplifying the voices of NICU families and ensuring that no mother feels alone during the challenges of premature birth and high-risk pregnancies.
