Though the presentation held over the weekend, Alicia Keys took to Twitter this week to reveal the news and also to share photos.

She wrote: “Friday was a powerful day. My baby, Swizz Beatz, and I presented case studies on our lives and business at Harvard Business School.”

She added: “As a kid I never would’ve imagined this! If we can do it, you can do it better.”

Swizz Beatz graduated from Harvard Business School. He earned a certificate from Harvard’s Owner/President Management Program.

Earlier this year, Swizz Beatz helped put together “Gordon Parks: Selections from the Dean Collection” at Ethelbert Cooper Gallery and was featured in The Harvard Gazette.

Alicia Keys will be for the second time in a roll host the 62nd edition of the Grammy awards.

According to Recording Academy, the Grammy award winner will be returning to its stage for the second time later in January 2020. The music star while reacting to the news said she thought it was a one-time thing.

“At first I did think last year was a one-time thing but when the opportunity came back around there was no question about returning as the host of the Grammys award. Last year was such a powerful experience for me. Not only did I feel the love in the room, but I felt it from around the world and it confirmed the healing and unifying power of music,” she said.

During the last awards show, Alicia showed out by simultaneously playing two pianos, and brought the audience to tears during her opening monologue with influential ladies like #MichelleObama and Jada Pinkett Smith.

Alicia Keys is set to debut as the host of the 2019 Grammy Awards.

The multi-award winning singer and 15 time Grammy Award winner has been announced as the host of the 61st edition of the music awards, the first time she will take the center stage at the glamorous event.

This was announced by the organizers on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 via the official Instagram handle [@recordingacademy]

”IT’S OFFICIAL! 15-time GRAMMY winner, aliciakeys will host the 61st #GRAMMYs⁠⁠, marking her first time as master of ceremonies for Music’s Biggest Night.”

In the video shared, Alicia Keys accepted the honour as she invited everyone to ”come vibe with her as she host the grammys.”

In a subsequent video posted on her Youtube Page, Alicia further explained how much this means to her,

“I know what it feels like to be on that stage and I know what it feels like to be proud of the work that you’ve put in and to be recognized for it. And I just feel grateful that I’m able to bring that light and that energy,” she says in the video.

“This is a first. It’s a first and it’s amazing and I think it’s perfect timing. Honestly, I’m really excited.

I feel really good about it because I feel like it’s the perfect opportunity for me to give the light back and lift people up, especially all the young women that are nominated,” she continues, calling out the high number of female nominees this year. “Like, to me, it feels like sister vibes.”

Alicia Keys will take over from last year’s host James Corden.

The 2019 Grammys will hold on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.

Grammy Award winner, Alicia Keys gets an accolade for saving the world in her spare time.

For a long time, Alicia has championed the fight against HIV/Aids in children across the globe through the organization she co-founded called “Keep a Child Alive.”

The Girl on Fire singer accepted Amnesty International’s Ambassador of Conscience Award for 2017, calling the honour “one of the most proud moments of my life.”

Especially as an activist, as a woman, here in this world, who is driven to recognize the injustice in the world and recognize the unfairness, the inequality, the things that have to change, the ways that we, as everyday people, all of us, have a part to play in that,” Alicia said in a statement.

Also, amongst others the singer has spoken out against gun violence, the refugee crisis and criminal justice reform among other social justice issues.

It encourages me to continue to speak out against injustice and use my platform to draw attention to the issues that matter to me,” she said about the award.

The organization will officially present Alicia with the award on Saturday, May 27 in Montreal, Canada, according to People.
