Domestic violence victim, Ivie Edobor, who lost her right leg after she was brutally attacked by her husband, John Edobor and his thugs in Lagos,took to her Facebook page to share testimony and photos of her a year after the incident. Her bones was badly crushed and she is currently on crutches with iron bars inside the legs to aid support.
She wrote;
”It’s been 1year since the terrible incident that took my right leg. I’m grateful to God for sparing my life that night. Yes, the perpetrator is still at large after jumping bail and fleeing the country to America with his mistress even with court case still on but one thing is sure, I am strong, I am happy, I am free, I have the love of my beautiful angels and most importantly, I AM A SURVIVOR. This is my life after DV. My God is awesome.”
It is no longer news that Big Brother Naija housemates, T-Boss and Kemen, are not on talking terms after Kemen tried to sexually harrass T-Boss and got disqualified from the show. The gist reaching us is that Azuka Ogujiuba of Media Room Hub and Charles Opaleke, a night club owner in Abuja have wade into the matter and decided to reconcile the two housemates. A peace meeting was organized and the good news is that the duo have settled their scores and are now on good terms.

On his way to work one morning driving out of our perfectly planned suburban community in his Mercedes and rocking a tailored 3 piece suit, my father was stopped, pulled out of his car in front of the entire neighborhood and put spread eagle on the ground with guns pointed at him. They said a convict had just escaped from a nearby jail. The guy they were looking for was 20. My dad was balding in his 40s. When I see this picture of my father I cannot help but think of #PhilandoCastile a good man who did all the right things and was a father figure to so many…and none of it mattered. On this day and every day know that we are not threatening by birth. Do not demonize our breath. We are not to be feared. Our lives, our children, our love… IT MATTERS! We matter. #BlackLivesMatter”

Kemi Ezenwanne, a Houston based Nigerian Doctor who is also a model, had her adorable twins and the story will leave you thankful for her.
In a series of Instagram posts, she narrates how she found out she was pregnant one month after her wedding and how she later found out in November 2016 that she was going to have twins.
She said she was so elated and although she had an easy first trimester, she soon had her fair share of the pregnancy pains when they found multiple fibroids degenerating few days to her 14th week. The discovery landed her in a hospital bed.
She later got better and the pregnancy progressed as expected.
However, during her visit to the doctor for a regular checkup this week, she was told there was a dip in the heartbeat of one of the babies and that they had to deliver them immediately.
She mentioned that the doctor in her wanted to freight when she was told the figures, but she remembered that she had been participating in the #HalleluyahChallenge by Nathaniel Bassey and got the confidence that God was going to show up for her and the babies.
Sharing the exciting news to her Instagram family, she confirmed that both her boys have been birthed and are doing great, just as she is as well.
