Vernita Lee, the mother of media mogul Oprah Winfrey, has died at the age of 83.
People reports that Vernita passed on Thanksgiving at her home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Oprah’s spokesperson who confirmed the news shared that Vernita has already been laid to rest in a private burial.
