Tonto Charity Dikeh, has issued a  warning to the public in a scary manner. As the Federal Government extends the period of lockdown, the number of infected cases has still been on rise. And it seems like some people still go against the order.

“Stay at home or book an appointment with the funeral home,” she said.

The Nollywood actress posted on her official Instagram page:

“Guess who is open to do your hair, nails and eyebrows? The funeral home! If you want an appointment, keep running around.”

Tonto is known as one who isn’t shy with her words as she voices it as it is. Probably the reason her friends aren

A certain grandmother who was diagnosed with Bosom cancer, cancer of the womb and skin cancer has also defeated the coronavirus.

Her 26 year old granddaughter Jade Elrick said;

“We tried to call but the nurses wouldn’t even hand her the phone because of infection control.

“We’re honestly so happy to have her back, it is such a relief.

“After she’d watched the TV when she got back she asked my dad if he’d seen the news about this virus going around and he’d told her that’s what she’d had – she was none the wiser.

“But we aren’t surprised she’s back as she’s really tough – she’s had Bosom  cancer, cancer of the womb and skin cancer and she’s still going.”

Gran-of-seven and great-great-gran-of-one Dorothy was taken to hospital by ambulance on March 27 after she found herself more breathless than usual and with a raging temperature.

Grandmother Dorothy who has also beaten three types of cancer in her life, was kept in a private isolated room for the week she was in hospital.

But the mum-of-two and great-grandma-of-seven was given the all clear and discharged from hospital last week to be reunited with her son.

According to Jade, the NHS staff were over the moon that Dorothy had recovered from coronavirus because of her age and health condition.

Her family suspect Dorothy caught the virus from carers who visit her home, four times per day, and are urging people to stay indoors to protect other elderly people.

Jada has been married to Will Smith for over two decades. Their status as  being deemed as a Hollywood power couple,  isn’t without its ups and downs. Their children are, son Jaden, 21, and daughter Willow, 18 currently.

Both couple recently, shared publicly the struggles in their relationship on her Facebook Watch show Red Table Talk, with Jada saying their decision to be so open about it came as they were keen to “get rid” of the idea of their romance being “perfect”.

She said: “What was really important about Will and I doing that show together – two things. First of all was really to kind of get rid of the idea that people in the public eye have perfect relationships. We were kind of sick of living up to that. We were real sick of it, and then second of all really having myself and Will come and talk about our relationship – sometimes you see just women do it alone or you just see a guy do it.”

The actress praised her spouse for being so open about his own “weakness”, as she said it has helped other “successful men” realise what they need to work on in their own relationships.

During an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the 47-year-old said: “Us having coming together and taking responsibility for both of our parts and also Will being the successful guy that he is and being willing to share what his pitfalls were in the relationship and in his family, you can’t imagine how many other successful men called and said, ‘Wow, my wife has been saying the same thing for years. Because you said it, it opened my eyes and because you said it, I’m willing to listen’.

“I think a lot of times successful men might feel like, ‘Hey, I know what I’m doing. I’ve had a lot of success in a lot of areas. I know exactly what I’m doing’. So, a lot of times, you know, you can shut your partner down a little bit.”

Tyler Perry faces critics concerning his new show Sistas that is currently on air.

Sistas is an American television comedy-drama series created, written and executive produced by Tyler Perry that first aired on October 23, 2019 on BET

With Perry stating that he is the sole writer of all his series that are currently on air.

Popular comedian Lil Rel Howery voiced his opinion on the issue:

“I love Tyler Perry and I’m proud of him, but I told myself I’m a say something because I don’t agree with that. I don’t understand,” he said, noting, “You can’t write a show called Sistas and you’re not a sista. So you don’t want no suggestions or nothing?”

“I know we talk a good game about ‘This is what I’m doing, I’m doing this, I’m doing that.’ Once again, I’m talking, but I’m putting my money where my mouth is,” he added. “I don’t have what he got yet, but as I climb up here, I’m a do even more of that. We gotta do better man. It’s all talk, but if you’re really on that, then give people jobs, bro. You can’t base nothing on one writers’ room, brother. That means you didn’t hire good writers. Find more writers! That’s just real.”

But the cast from Sistas are out against this as they dish out defence for him.

“I think it’s really important to remember that Tyler Perry puts Black women at the forefront in so many ways. “Sistas” comes from women in his life,” said costar Ebony Obsidian. “He may have sat there and written a script but it’s coming from Black women. So Black women’s fingerprints are all over this script.”

Baker also added, “He said at our premiere that he actually gave some of the women on his staff producer credits because he listened to them. He sat down and talked to them for a couple of hours and he was like, ‘I’m going to write this.”

Tyler Perry is known for his numerous movies portraying the stories of black women, their relationships and faith, examples like ‘ Diary of a mad black woman’, and the Madea collections
