when you approach a stripper and ask to take them to your room you just agreed to prostitution. You are going to pay for sex which is illegal and punishable by jail time and you cry foul when a stripper robs you?

R. Kelly’s estranged daughter has broken her silence about the controversy surrounding her father.

Joann Kelly, who goes by the name Buku Abi, posted a lengthy statement on her Instagram stories Thursday which began “Buku here. I just want to say a few things…”
“Before I start I just want it to be known that I am speaking from the heart, nothing I say or do not say is to hurt ANY party reading this or affected by this,” the statement read.
“To the people that feel I should be speaking up/against everything that is going on right now. I just want you all to understand that devastated is an understatement for all that I feel currently.”
R. Kelly has come under fire in the wake of the recent Lifetime docuseries “Surviving R. Kelly” which chronicles allegations of abuse, predatory behavior and pedophilia against the singer.
Kelly has consistently denied the allegations and has never been convicted of any crime tied to them.
Abi is one of three children born to Kelly and his ex-wife, Andrea Kelly, who also appeared in the docuseries and shared her allegations of having been abused by him.
Abi apologized, saying:
“if my silence to all that is happening comes off as careless.”
“That is my last intention,” she wrote.
“I pray for all the families & women who have been affected by my father’s actions. Trust, I have been deeply affected by all of this.”
She said she’s been struggling to process it all and find the right words to say.
According to Abi, she has been estranged from her father for a while.
“Anyone that knows me personally or has been following me throughout the years knows that I do not have a relationship with my father,” Abi said in her statement.
“Nor do I speak on him or on his behalf. I also am not fond of dealing with my personal issues or personal life through social media but, I feel things are starting to get out of hand.”
She then went on to discuss how “Reminders of how terrible my father is, and how we should be speaking up against him, rude comments about my family, fabricating me, my siblings & our mothers ‘part’ etc. Does not help my family (Me, my sister, my brother, and my mother) in our healing process.”
“The same monster you all confronting me about is my father,” Abi wrote.
“I am well aware of who and what he is. I grew up in that house.”
She ended her statement by thanking her family’s supporters for helping them through what she said has been a difficult time.
“Family, friends, followers, fans, etc… I love you guys to pieces,” Abi wrote. “Your love is appreciated & always will be.”

Singer R. Kelly has come under investigation following the “Surviving R. Kelly” documentary series by Lifetime.

The documentary, which has sparked renewed interest in the allegations of abuse and running a sex cult against the singer, contains interviews from his alleged victims and families of girls still living with him.

Guardian reports that Chicago prosecutor Kimberly Foxx has urged potential victims of the singer to come forward and report their abuse.

There’s nothing that can be done to investigate these allegations without the cooperation of both victims and witnesses. We cannot seek justice without you.

The singer has long since dodged conviction, getting acquited of charges of child pornography back in 2008.

The allegations of different forms of sex abuse have long since existed, as he was accused of allegedly illegally marrying the late singer Aaliyah.

R. Kelly is reportedly set to tell his side of the story after Lifetime’s docuseries ‘Surviving R. Kelly’ aired.

The R & B legend was accused of horrific abuse by multiple women in the docuseries. But he maintains his innocence and intends to “expose” his accusers via a new website called survivinglies.com.

Sources close to R. Kelly reportedly revealed that he and his team are in the middle of launching the site. The website will reportedly attempt to expose his accusers as liars and expose the motivation behind their allegations.

At the moment, the website is not live, but there is a Facebook account with the same name. It appears that Asante McGee, who was featured in the docuseries, is the first target to be exposed by R. Kelly.

The Facebook page Surviving Lies shared a video linked to YouTube. The video features an audio conversation that allegedly features Asante’s daughter and ex-boyfriend exposing her accusations. The people on the audio have not been verified, but the page is claiming that it is Asante’s daughter and ex-boyfriend.

Jada Pinkett-Smith has joined the now growing list of celebrities who have come to speak out since the now famous #SurvivingRKelly documentary hit the internet and for her, she is surprised at folks buying his music.

In a video shared via her Twitter page on Sunday, January 6, 2018, the movie star and mother of two expressed her shocked at the increasing rate of sales of R.Kelly’s music, since the documentary where women came out to speak about the pains they went through in his hands.

”So I got an article about how R.Kelly’s music sales have spiked substantially since the release of surviving R.Kelly documentary series and I’m having a really difficult time understanding why but it is important that I understand why. I really would like for you guys to make me understand what I am missing, if I’m missing something that I don’t necessarily agree with, I just want to understand what I’m missing. So you can sound off below and that would be great and we can continue the conversation…and I really don’t want to believe that black girls don’t matter enough or that the reason? So let me know, happy Sunday,” she said.

It is well known that in the world of music, a number of reasons spikes off the increase in sales of music from artists which includes, death and just like the situation, a big controversy.
