A young Nigerian graduate Jossy Otu who is also married to a lawyer has won the public attention when she claimed that she makes more money by selling food in a wheelbarrow than what many employed graduates earns.
Expressing her excitement, she cited that she is not ashamed with the business that fetches her millions of Naira.
Recently, she took to social media to share her view, “hello, this is me, I sell food on a wheelbarrow, yes I went to school. I am mother, married to a lawyer. Some will ask why i am doing this? Some even says i am more beautiful to be selling food in a wheelbarrow? I laughed, see when God want to bless you he takes you out of yourself comfort zone. I am not ashamed of my hustle, I got praises and criticized for my hustle.
“The first time I took my wheelbarrow I almost went back home ashamed. I asked myself what will my friends and family say chai, but then I got courage and went back to the streets and i said to hell with what people will blame me. The second day i sold all my food and mad a profit of 3k, my capital being 5k chai I wan craze, that devil is lier. Within 2 months I made 150k as profit.By selling fried akara i have belt a house and i am able to pay for my children tuition fees at the university,” she added.
The desire to venture into the business started due to lack of job opportunities after years of graduating. She then gathered the courage to do the impossible.
