When a film touches hearts, sparks important conversations, and leaves audiences in tears in the best way, you know it’s more than just a movie. The Life Coach, the award-winning drama from filmmaker Patricia Bebia, did exactly that.

After an incredible few weeks in theatres across Canada, The Life Coach has officially wrapped up its nationwide run, ending on a high note with a moving final screening in Whitby, Ontario, on April 17, 2025.

What began as a passion project premiered to a sold-out crowd in Dominica, before heading to Canadian screens in Toronto, Hamilton,Kanata, Bolton, London, Calgary, Edmonton, and several other cities. From coast to coast, audiences showed up in droves, some watching it more than once to experience the emotional journey this story offers.

The film struck a powerful chord with viewers through its themes of healing, self-discovery, grief, growth, and human connection. It quickly earned a reputation as “a film with a heartbeat,” receiving praise from fans and critics alike who described it as:

“Oscar-worthy.”
“Life-changing.”
“A story the world needs to see.”

With over 140,000 impressions generated through Landmark Cinemas’ digital takeover campaign, the film not only made noise online but also created space for deeper conversations in communities and cinemas alike.

Director Patricia Bebia Speaks from the Heart
