Florida County has decided to dedicate a whole day to Nigerian-American actress, Sope Aluko to celebrate her rise in Hollywood.

Following her Black Panther role as the shaman, she will also be appearing in the movie Venom.

According to the news Aluko excitedly shared on her Instagram, Miami-Dade County has proclaimed April 10, 2018, as Sope Aluko Day — an honor she was presented by the county’s mayor and vice chairwoman.

Sope Aluko is also set to appear alongside Taraji P. Henson and this year’s ‘Best Supporting Actor’ Oscar winner, Sam Rockwell, in the upcoming period drama, The Best Of Enemies.
