Erelu Bisi Adeleye-Fayemi is a globally respected gender and development specialist, feminist activist, policy advocate, leadership coach, and acclaimed author. She is the Co-Founder of the African Women’s Development Fund (AWDF), one of Africa’s leading women’s funds, and founded the African Women’s Leadership Institute, which has developed more than 10,000 women leaders across the continent. A former First Lady of Ekiti State, Nigeria, she has championed policies advancing the rights of women and girls and continues to influence leadership and social justice through her work in academia, philanthropy, and public policy.
